The installation was efficient, the workers were prompt, and the entire experience went smoothly. Everything was finished the first day we were new residents! I was exceedingly impressed and highly recommend Culligan of Escondido.

Service was great. They were fast and friendly. It is a joy to have cold/hot filtered water and not to have to buy cases of bottled water each week.

The Best Water Softeners and Water Filters in Poway, CA.

With this combination of water resources, Poway water quality often faces our share of water filtration and treatment issues.

The City of Poway relies on two surface water sources: water that is imported from San Diego County Water Authority and local rainfall captured by Lake Poway. The imported water comprises the majority of the water needs of the community, accounting for 99.5% of the raw water supply.

The raw waer is received from the Northern California Aqueduct and Colorado River Systems. These sources of water are pumped to the Lester J. Berglund Water Treatment Plant and to Lake Poway for storage.

Is Poway Tap Water Safe To Drink?

Environmental Working Group detected 10 contaminants in Poway tap water where levels reached above their recommended guidelines. This includes chloroform, HAA5, and TTHMs.
